Southern Business NOW is the most unique business show to appear in a long time. Now companies can benefit by advertising on the Southern Business NOW television program. For those companies seeking to promote their product or service to the millions of Southerners throughout the sixteen southern states, Southern Business NOW television program could be the end to their search.

Southern Business NOW is produced by Knoxville, Tennessee based The Pinnacle Communications. The Pinnacle Communications is built on a commitment of service and quality. Today the company is a high quality producer of various media products. The Pinnacle Communications’ commitment to service and quality lives on timeless ideals guiding it in its mission: to develop, produce, and market high-quality, profitable products that inform, enrich, entertain, and inspire people of all ages.

The Pinnacle Communications is very excited to announce the introduction of its syndicated Southern Business NOW television program. The program is a regional show devoted to the coverage of corporations headquartered or primarily doing commerce in the sixteen Southern states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.

The thirty minute program features and highlights a Southern based business each month. The program contains in-depth coverage of both large corporations and smaller family owned businesses that are headquartered in the Southern region. Capitalizing on the significant growth in this great region, the program provides in-depth information and data on selected industries and markets. Additionally, the program features prominent people who have had a profound influence on the Southern region. Such people are editorialized by the designation of the Southerner of the Year ---award presented by Southern Business magazine each year. Southern Business NOW has the distinction of owning the exclusive rights to interview and broadcast each years winner.

Each Southern Business NOW broadcast highlights a company’s history, key employees, and product or service. The history section consists of a focused interview with the company’s founder, or in many cases, the founders. It is the underlining philosophy of the producer of Southern Business NOW, that only the founder(s) can accurately articulate the business’s foundation and reason for existence. Believe it or not, many companies have started simply as a means to feed the founders family. As was the case of Lonas A. Swaggerty, founder of Swaggerty Sausage Company headquartered in Kodak, Tennessee. As depicted in Southern Business NOW’s inaugural episode of the Swaggerty Sausage Company, Lonas started his sausage company on his family farm during the depression years so that he could earn money to buy food for his family. If, in the case of longer lived companies, were the founder is not available or no longer involved in the company, Southern Business NOW features interviews with the company’s key employees. Many Southern Businesses have been passed on to the next generation or perhaps sold to wealthy investors for a huge profit. These are totally great stories with great entertainment value.

Southern Business NOW’s primary focus is on the unique products and services that have originated in the great Southern region. Such world wide known companies as Coke, Hawaiian Tropic, FedEx, and Walt Disney Company just to name a few. These Southern based companies, like thousands of others, have chosen the uniqueness of the South to locate their company as they started as a simple concept to grow to be known as multi-million dollar world wide businesses. Southern Business NOW is a television program which targets business enthusiasts in the region. The program was founded on the philosophy that people have a greater interest in watching and learning about businesses that are located in the region where the viewer lives.

The timing of such a show is NOW. Over the past few years, the South’s economic growth has outpaced the rest of the country’s, and that trend is expected to continue. New businesses are incorporating and established firms are relocating to the region to take advantage of lower taxes, attractive labor conditions and the moderate climate.

Southern Business NOW has already featured its unique television broadcast to many Southern markets with many more to be covered. However, even with the one of a kind original Southern Business NOW theme, the shows success is very much attributed to the character and personality of our host, Alan Williams. Williams began his broadcasting career over twenty-five years ago after playing football at the University of Florida. Alan has never looked back, today he has become one of the premier television celebrities in the South.

Southern Business NOW serves one of the largest and most emerging markets. In the Southern region there are currently over 75 million people between the ages of 25 to 65 with discretionary spending power of over $100 billion. This viewer ship is predicted to continue to grow for sometime as the region attracts more companies. Southern Business NOW has strategically positioned itself to serve the “Optimal Target Prospect”, which is the core of the market. A dramatic shift is occurring in the population as the 25 to 65 age group assumes a larger and larger portion of the population. Southern Business NOW uniquely serves that segment of the growing consumer base that has the following highly targeted characteristics; Male and Female ages 25 to 65, household annual income of $75,000 or more, and college educated.

The South offers unlimited exposure to businesses that seek to expose their product or service to the millions of Southerners all across the Southern region. The syndicated Southern Business NOW offers advertisers the opportunity to connect to the billions of dollars in purchasing power that is enjoyed by the millions of Southerners. By advertising on Southern Business NOW the advertiser will be associated with supporting a highly educational program whose main goal is to help promote and grow the South’s economy. Southern Business NOW television show is truly a unique program that offers great benefits to southern businesses seeking to capitalize on the Southern region.
